Hi, Capt.!

Sorry I missed Tuesday's game. Had to work late because I am taking time off this weekend for our big trip to Ottawa. We leave at the crack of dawn on Friday and we will actually be on the ice at the same time as the Blues on friday night. It will be a little tough getting on the ice after a nine hour bus trip! This old stiff body will need to do some warmin' up!

We have two games on Saturday and then one on Sunday depending on how we place. We actually have a chance at this tournament as they are all a little more along our level. Not like the Mass tournament!

Speaking of the Westfield tournament, it is April 29 - May 1 and I will forward you the schedule when I get it. We got put in a pool with some very tough teams, the Chicago Blackhawks (top U.S. team!), the New England Bruins (top players from all New England teams) and a new team to the tournament, the Cruisers from Canada. Thought we might have a chance at a new team but I found out they are far from new, just new to this tournament. I actually heard they are better than the Blackhawks! We won't be allowed to bring on any ringers from other teams this year so it will all be up to us. I'll send the schedule so you guys can come when some of the best teams are playing, if anyone wants to come. I know Scotty and Chris are coming. Not sure who else.

By the way, we won the Celebrity game and raised enough money to complete our funds for the trip to Ottawa. Please thank the guys for their contribution, it was greatly appreciated. All the celebrities had a great time and want to do it again next year so it will probably become a yearly challenge. We even won a gold cup for the win! Donny Marshall from Uconn basketball was the only one to score on me but he had like a nine foot wingspan to cover! It was a blast!

Gotta go get packed for Canada! I'll be shouting Go Blue! in between Go Wolfpack! on Friday while I am on the ice.
